Year End Wrap-up

The end of the year can be hectic but there are a few small things you can do that will help you get off to a productive start next year!

Relax, Refresh, and Recharge.

Recruiters and HR Teams

  • Pick the top five to ten people who gave you referrals to candidates this year and write the a hand written note. Genuinely thank them for their partnership this year and that you can’t wait to see what you can do together moving into next year.

    • You can send cards to all employees but make your top people feel special by hand writing something.

    • If you can, pick out nice cards that will resonate with the person. Example: If they have a good sense of humor, get a funny card.

Leaders (COOs, CFOs, CROs)

  •  Set aside a budget for next year for recruiting which may be used towards:

    • Upgrading your recruiting tech stack

    • Working with outside recruiting resources

    • Allowing for great referral incentives for employees

Office/Desk

  • CLEAN it! ORGANIZE it!

  • Disinfect it— This is not “business advice” but if you get sick, your production will suffer so technically it is business related :)
