Reconnect with Reps to
Re-establish Goals
The beginning of a new year is a great time to reconnect with Reps, Staff, and COIs about their 2021 goals and share your own.
Sample Agenda- 30 minutes
1. Shoot the Sh*& in a meaningful way- 5 minutes
How were the holidays? What did you end up doing?
How are the kids?
How did you wrap up calendar year? Congrats!
2. Their goals- 10 minutes
What are your goals for 2021 in production?
What about personally? What are you committing to?
What (if any) are your recruiting goals?
If they don't have any because they aren't in leadership, share yours first and ask for help and a commitment
3. Your goals (and ask for a commitment)- 10 minutes
Share your personal goals
Share the office goals in regards to recruiting
Ask if you can count on them
"I'd love your help building the firm this year. What do you think is a realistic commitment? Monthly meeting? Number of referrals?"
"I want to help you help me-- I am happy to run feed lists (in fact I have one today), or remind you to prospect in your client meetings each week, can help with language-- you let me know and I will help."
4. Feed list- 5 minutes
Present a prepared feed list
"I pulled a few names from your LinkedIn- who on this list should I reach out to? Would you mind giving an introduction?"
Schedule your next meeting before you finish.
Enjoy reconnecting and re-engaging! It should feel like fun NOT work.
