Follow-up with Past Intern Candidates!

Bullhorn has been around for 6-7 years which means you likely have a lot of interns from the past in your system who have likely graduated and have some work experience.

Ok, there are a couple ways to do this and it will all depend on our diligent your campus teams have been and are with putting grad dates into Bullhorn.

Option #1 (works best with graduation dates):

Go to Bullhorn.

Menu> Candidate List > Columns> Add a Source Column > Add a Graduation Date Column > Add Full-time or Intern Column > Add Date Added Column > Add Lead Source 1 Column > Save

Filter Graduation Date Column to Past year (or next 90 days to find PGPs)

If you want to find people who graduated prior to the last year: Go to the Search bar at the top of the Candidate list > Additional Criteria > Graduation Date > Before > Insert a date

Pro Tip: If you are overwhelmed with how many pop up- start the search by just filtering for Agency leads. Those are ALL referrals and you can probably find another connection with them in the office.

Option #2:

Go to Bullhorn

Menu> Candidate List > Columns> Add a Source Column > Add a Graduation Date Column > Add Full-time or Intern Column > Add Date Added Column > Add Lead Source 1 Column > Save

Go to the Search bar at the top of the Candidate list > Additional Criteria > Date Added > Before > January 1, 2019 (this will grab more people from the past but use whatever date you’d like)> Save

All of the candidates that pop up are INTERNS from the past. Those people will have likely graduated and have some work experience so could be good people to call. Like mentioned above, if you are overwhelmed with how many, start with referrals.

Pro Tip: When you are done with this search, don’t forget to clear all filters! Including the filters in the Search bar.

Happy Bullhorn Day!
