Create COIs with Recruiters

Recruiters in all industries are busier than ever which means it is great time to establish COIs with some relevant recruiters in different industries.

How to identify the right people

Ideally you want to connect with other recruiters who are coming in contact with candidates who meet our ideal candidate profile. For example: a COI who is a recruiter who focuses solely on placing software engineers may not be the best person.

  • “Executive Search” AND “Sales”

How to approach them

Create a win/win

“Hi [Name], I am a specialized recruiter which means I only place about 5% of the people I speak with and am looking to connect with other recruiters in the area. There are a lot of high quality candidates where our role is not a fit but would be amazing for a different company. No charge for sending them over (or if you place them) but I would love to share more about what we do in case you come across a good person for us. What is your calendar like next week to connect?”

Your value proposition

We interview 30-60 high caliber professionals from all industries each month but this career is only right for 1-2 of those people. For the people who are not a fit, we still want to add value and sending them to another recruiter is a great way to do that.
