We have been running into a lot of people who are in the Consulting profession who looking for more. Many people became consultants as the pandemic hit and feeling like they want to be more connected to an organization. Because the term ‘Consultant’ is so broad, it opens up a big pool of candidates!
Search Strings
There are multiple titles/descriptor words for consultants. Play around with what gets you the most results in your area. Here are the ones that work well for us:
“Consultant” AND “Business Development” AND “Clients”
“Fractional CFO” OR “Fractional COO” OR “Fractional CPO”
“Freelance” AND “Consultant” AND “Sales”
“Business Development Consultant”
“Business Development” AND “Consultant” AND “Seeking New”
Language for outreach:
“Hi {Name}, we have been working with a number of consultants who are looking for a bit of a change in their career. I am not sure if you are in the same boat but with your background as a {customize}, you may be interested in different career opportunities that compliment your skills, give you independence, and provide a lot of growth.”
